"Great....another angry post about [my] Vegas Golden Knights. Y'all haters love to talk LOL!"
Let me say this: Grown men who still use "LOL" often say things that aren't important, nor are often taken seriously. They're the same people who see an article then respond pretending they read the whole thing. Ha! Nice try, buster.
Now that Las Vegas is the fresh, new destination to host a sports team, the Golden Knights have had a steady post-season run. While the sports news media love to rave and boast about how "difficult" their journey was, everyone here knows why they've gotten to the Stanley Cup Finals. How "difficult" is this journey when this is barely the team's first season?
Living in Los Angeles, California, Las Vegas is my second home. When I was a kid, we'd always drive up to Vegas to visit my grandmother; That visitation was two to three times a month, so growing up, we were always in Vegas. However, since my birth took place here in Los Angeles, I'm a Kings fan. Was I surprised the Kings got knocked out in the first round by the Golden Knights? Not at all. Heck, I didn't even know why we secured a spot in the playoffs since we were topsy-turvy this season.
While the Golden Knights have impressed Sin City and raised some eyebrows around the league, I believe we all know why they likely deserve the championship:
